Information on advance polling stations abroad for the 2024 presidential election now available online

Information on the polling stations abroad for the presidential election to be held in January 2024 is now available on the elections website of the Ministry of Justice, Electionsfinland.fi.

​​​​​​​There will be a total of 220 advance polling stations in 89 different countries, located at Finland's diplomatic and consular missions or their offices, including the stations of Finland’s crisis management contingents in Lebanon and Kurdistan, Iraq. Some of the advance polling stations will only be open on certain days during the advance voting period.

The 2024 election of the President of the Republic will be held on Sunday 28 January 2024. The possible second round will be conducted on 11 February 2024.

Abroad, the advance voting period for the first round is from 17 to 20 January 2024. If a second round is conducted, the advance voting period abroad is from 31 January to 3 February 2024.

Eligible voters staying abroad during the advance voting period and on election day may also vote in advance by post from abroad. The postal voting instructions are available on the Electionsfinland.fi website.

The locations of advance polling stations in Finland will be confirmed on 3 November. Information on all advance polling stations will be published on the elections website of the Ministry of Justice, Electionsfinland.fi, on Monday 6 November.
